Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Directs the activities of the inspectors and ensures that specifications and quality procedures are followed during the inspection of parts and processes.
  • Able to resolve quality problems as they are revealed through inspection procedures.
  • Responsible for the training of quality control inspectors, leaders and production operators and leaders.
  • Ensure the employee certification program is running consistently.
  • Ensure that product meets specifications and alerts production when parts are not. The QC inspection catches substandard parts, which can point out when a process or machine is not functioning properly.
  • Able to evaluate vendors for compliance to quality standards. Inspection data from quality control processes can identify problems with vendors or materials used in production.
  • Schedule inspector, ensure that production departments have audits of the processes and parts.
  • Effectively implement the corrective and preventive actions including customer complaints and reports on non-conformities; investigate the cause of non-conformities relating to product, process and Quality System.
  • Direct investigation of customer complaints on products and ensure proper measures are taken where necessary.
  • Ensure that the Lab is always clean and tidy.
  • Ensure the written Standard Operation Procedures and its related procedures are effectively maintained and implemented and review when necessary.
  • Assist QA Manager (MR) control the ISO documents.
  • To report daily quality control activities to QA Manager.
  • To conduct on job training for QC inspectors.
  • Ensure all the checklist are recorded and filed it properly.
  • Ensure all test equipment are well maintained and store in proper manner.
  • Responsible for the implementation, communication, coordination and management of all matters related to Quality Management System (QMS) ISO process.
  • Other duties, assigned by manager.

Authorization:

  • Approve machine setting based on product requirement specification.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Min. SPM or equivalent.

Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in quality control and ISO system
  • Computer literate
