Duties

Oversee all daily operation of production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedure are followed. Develop the team; processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.

Job Performance Measurement
  • Meet all the production targets
  • Achieve the target uptime of the machinery and equipment
  • Meet all the government and regulatory requirements
  • Meet the operating target cost
  • Ensure that there are no customer complains
  • Work with HR to ensure timely replacement of headcount

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day to day operation to meet on customer's expectations as well as the Department of Environment's requirement.
  • Responsible for handling duty as a competent person.
  • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary cost and maintaining quality standard.
  • Responsible for production input, output, storage and on time logistic chain practise.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Implement strategies in line with the management plan and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to achieve the target set.
  • Leader of the whole team; coordinate the operation members, monitor operation and trigger corrective action.
  • Manage and develop staffs of plant.
  • Collect and analyses data to minimize the waste or overtime
  • Commit to plant safety procedures
  • Develop systems and process that track and optimize productivity standard systems and process that track and optimize productivity standard and performance target to ensure effective return on asset.
  • Monitor and establish preventive maintenance for the best machinery operation to meet the goals set.
  • To support and contribute to the implementation of ISO14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
  • To carry out other duties assigned by the management from time to time

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Experience in the scheduled waste industry is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
