Project Coordinator

Overview:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing IT solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of software and systems that align with project goals. The coordinator will also oversee the end-to-end process of third-party integrating software with internal systems, including supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Key responsibilities include liaising with clients to define project scope, reviewing technical specifications from the development team, managing software release versions.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders. Analyze and conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis.
- Solution and System Design Support: Translate business needs into technical requirements. Collaborate with development team to propose system solutions.Develop specifications such as use cases, data flow diagrams, and process models.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, workflows, and processes. Ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
- Review & Validate Specifications: Review technical specifications and integration documentation released by the development team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements. Collaborate with the development team to clarify technical specifications and make necessary adjustments to avoid integration issues later in the project.
- System Testing and Validation Support: Assist in defining test plans and scenarios. Participate in system testing and validate if the developed solution meets requirements.
- Version Control & Release Management: Manage the versioning of software releases from the development team, ensuring that releases are clearly documented and aligned with project milestones. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure proper deployment planning and execution for both software and hardware updates
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between end users, developers, and project managers. Translate technical language for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve technical, project, and deployment issues, collaborating with relevant teams to provide solutions. Ensure the timely resolution of issues during integration, testing, and deployment phases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferably 2-5 years of working experience.
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a System Analyst or project management role, particularly in software integration and deployments.
- Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Prior experience with software release management and deployment coordination is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software integration methods, APIs, data transfer protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.), and middleware solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Experience with version control tools and deployment automation processes.
- Proficient in project management tools (JIRA, Asana, MS Project) and issue tracking systems.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in parallel.
- Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and manage relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients and other non-technical teams.
- Strong client-facing experience, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
