About the role

Join SW Green Energy as a PW4 Wireman. This is a full-time position based in Sabah.

1. Operation and Supervision
  • Operate and monitor low voltage electrical systems and switchboards
  • Install and Maintain Solar System
  • Supervise all electrical works in accordance with safety regulations
  • Control distribution of power in commercial or industrial premises
  • Ensure compliance with ECOS regulations

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance of LV systems
  • Identify and repair faults in electrical installations and equipment
  • Test continuity, insulation resistance, and grounding
  • Respond to breakdowns and ensure system restoration promptly

3. Installation & Testing
  • Supervise or carry out installation of LV electrical wiring and solar systems
  • Ensure correct selection and installation of cables, breakers, and protective devices
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of new installations
  • Verify conformity to electrical drawings and load schedules

4. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain electrical maintenance logs and inspection records
  • Prepare reports on breakdowns, repairs, and test results
  • Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and equipment layout
  • Coordinate with consultants and SESB for load application and metering

5. Safety and Compliance
  • Enforce electrical safety rules (Electricity Supply Act 1990) and Enactment Sabah 2024
  • Ensure proper grounding and ELCB installation
  • Participate in electrical audit and energy efficiency practices
