Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products / formulas, study the potential of new products and propose & develop new formula / products.
  2. Oversee research projects, analyze results, and provide recommendations based on findings.
  3. Propose formula based on warehouse surplus raw material.
  4. Sourcing, analyzing, testing and proposing for new alternative raw materials.
  5. Research on current market trends and competitor products.
  6. Assist in customer product formulation, sampling, and any issue of post-production.
  7. Provide advice on client and sales inquiry and provide technical/ scientific advice.
  8. Assist in the research project of patent ingredient, method, or product.
  9. Provide idea for improving product margin (specification & costing).
  10. Ensure all the changes on formula being tracked, monitored, and recorded.
  11. Perform expressed or implied duties required by superior or company.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional in Food Science /Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics orequivalent.
  • 1-3 year(s)of working experience in R&D, product formulationor related field. Fresh grad are welcome.
  • Strong Food Science knowledge and understanding latest technology in health supplement and cosmetic.
  • Understanding of ISO, GMP, HACCP, Halal & KKM regulation requirement and its principles
  • Good planning, organization and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and creative mindset.
  • Results-oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
