About the role

Join the GVR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT & SERVICES' team as an Accountant in our Batu Caves, Selangor office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting services to support our growing property management business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  2. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  3. Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
  4. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial projections
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
  6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance
  8. Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
  3. Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably within the property management industry
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  6. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
