We are looking for an Intern to join our team to perform the design activities. Given the short duration of internship, the focus will be supporting the design engineers in preparing Bill of Material (BOM), work instructions and other technical documents for product, assembly fixture and test fixture. Besides join the verification and validation of the design, performing the product trouble shooting, testing, data collection and reporting. Also, support the projects and test lab activities. It is crucial to ensure all tasks are delivered on time.

Reporting directly to team leader, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company with the support and guidance from design engineer

The role requires the mechanical background as a fundamental. Good communication skill, highly motivated and ability to work independently, using mechanical knowledge to drive and complete the tasks assigned. Success in this role is dependent on the in-and-external collaboration to maintain the organization's day-to-day business operation, courage in taking the ownership and responsibility.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Support the design related activities for the products produced in VAT Malaysia.
• Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) for product design, assembly fixture and test fixture.
• Support to prepare the technical documents and work instructions.
• Support to verify and validate the design.
• Support in performing product trouble shooting, testing, data collection and reporting
• Support the design engineer for projects activities
• Support test lab during product testing and qualification

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• Final year student / fresh graduate of local / overseas institution with cumulative minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent.
• Proactive, agile, creative, self-motivated
• Sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently
• Team player, ability to collaborate professionally in fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, with good English efficiency.
• Mechanical engineering discipline are preferred
