Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the head of the department in developing marketing plans and strategies.
  • Responsible for budget management & media planning, event execution, coordinating and liaising with a range of stakeholders, including vendors/suppliers, sales floor operations, colleagues, and partner organizations.
  • Take charge of set-up and all related coordination works, sourcing and securing the best deals for the company.
  • Basic writing and proofreading copy and content verification with stakeholders, including immediate superior, sales departments, and suppliers.
  • Coordination with the designer and copywriter on artwork preparation and content checking for Press Release for major events and festive periods.
  • Coordination on publicity materials, both digital and traditional marketing, such as flyers, newspapers, radio ads, Google Display Network, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, e-Newsletter, etc.
  • Liaison with media houses, Government bodies (Ministries & DBKL), and banks.
  • Liaising with printers, POS Malaysia, and the mailing house to ensure effective distribution of marketing materials and the sales department on promotion and marketing support.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns and monitor competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing Communication, Advertising, or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role.
  • Experience in creating marketing campaigns, marketing strategy, and marketing plan.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
