Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler with specialized experience in MEP systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and management of Building Information Models (BIM) to enhance project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate 3D BIM models for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and integration of MEP systems within the overall building design.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution using BIM software to identify and mitigate potential conflicts between various systems.
  • Generate detailed drawings and documentation from BIM models for construction and fabrication.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
  • Support project teams in using BIM software and tools, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to MEP modeling.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and MEP design to enhance skills and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems design, codes, and standards.
  • Experience with clash detection and resolution processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
