About the Role

We are looking for an Application Support Specialist (Digital Transformation) to support our company's enterprise-wide transformation initiative. This role includes consolidating multiple existing application systems into a unified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform and driving continuous digitalisation improvements to support business growth.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in ERP systems, business process optimisation, and digital transformation within a retail and distribution environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. ERP Consolidation & Implementation Support

  • Assist in the consolidation of multiple application systems into a single Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) platform, including process mapping, data migration, and harmonisation activities.
  • Assist the Digital Transformation Manager in configuring BC modules, including Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Finance, and Warehouse.
  • Support gap analysis and document requirements for enhancements, integrations, and reporting needs.
  • Participate in integration work between BC and other systems (eCommerce, POS, WMS, 3PL, etc.).

2. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Support the analysis of business workflows across retail, distribution, warehouse, finance, and procurement functions.
  • Participate in user workshops and document business needs, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for system optimisation and process improvement.

3. Digitalisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Work with stakeholders to identify areas where digitalisation can enhance efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
  • Support the implementation of workflow automation, improved reporting, and other digital enhancement initiatives.
  • Gather user feedback and recommend enhancements aligned with ongoing digital transformation and business growth.

4. Training, Documentation & Support

  • Prepare SOPs, training materials, and system guides for end users.
  • Conduct basic end-user training and walk-through sessions.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
  • Assist in preparing test scripts and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of business operations such as sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or finance processes.
  • Strong interest in ERP systems, digital transformation, and business process improvement.
  • Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

  • Internship or exposure to ERP systems (BC, NAV, SAP, Oracle, SQL-based systems).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, or Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of retail, wholesale, or distribution environments.
  • Basic exposure to SQL, system configuration, or data analysis.
