Job Description: 

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain a safe workplace environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with KKKP requirements and other local safety and environmental standards.
  • Lead investigations into workplace accidents or incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all employees understand and follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to safety protocols, incidents, and inspections.
  • Advise management on the implications of safety issues and how to improve safety measures.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
  • Prepare reports and communicate safety performance to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Health Management, or related fields.
  • Certified as a KKKP officer or experience in managing KKKP compliance.
  • Knowledge of local occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train and engage employees on safety measures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in MDA application is highly preferable.

Salary Range:

  • From RM6000 to RM9000, open to discuss depends on your experience.
