Account Manager

Our client is an award-winning and leading influencer marketing agency based in Singapore. They are seeking a dynamic team member from Malaysia to join them as an Account Manager. 

This role is a blend of the operational rigour of account management, focusing on building and nurturing client relationships while delivering exceptional influencer marketing campaigns. 

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of influencer marketing, excellent listening skills, and the ability to dive beneath the surface of client concerns to uncover core needs. They will be organized, disciplined, and proactive in addressing challenges, not just taking orders.

This is a full-time remote role. The successful candidate should be based in Johor, Malaysia.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Client Success Development & Relationship Management

• Grow accounts, secure bigger budgets, and retain key accounts year-on-year
• Develop accounts by analysing account potential; initiating, developing, and recommending new applications and strategies
• Identify potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with the customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analysing opportunities
• Develop strong and trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly revenue, client NPS score)
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities 

Campaign Strategy & Execution

• Concept and Strategy Planning: Unleash your creative juices to achieve brand storytelling and business objectives for the client and company
• Collaborate with community operations for campaign execution
• Project Management:
• Content Planning & Scheduling of campaigns
• Manage timeline and ensure delivery for key milestones including presentations and approvals
• Control the financial health of all campaigns
• Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Research and keep updated on vertical and social media trends for product knowledge as a professional advisor to the client; sharing of knowledge within and across departments

• A strong understanding of influencer marketing and social media platforms.
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to read between the lines and delve deeper into client conversations.
• A creative and analytical mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving benchmarks.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a consistent and disciplined approach to managing projects.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of experience in account management in the influencer marketing industry
• Experience with managing influencers and influencer marketing campaigns beyond Malaysia, e.g. Singapore, will be ideal 
• Follow Singapore working days (Mondays - Fridays) and hours (9am - 6pm, SGT), and Singapore public holidays.
• Based in Johor, Malaysia

Salary range: SGD2,500-SGD3,000
