Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate product costing for plastic bags and related products.
  • Develop quotations and price proposals for customers and tenders.
  • Analyze raw material, production, and logistics costs to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Review customer requirements and determine the most cost-effective manufacturing approach.
  • Liaise with production, procurement, and sales teams to gather cost data and confirm feasibility.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and pricing strategies to improve profitability.
  • Ensure all quotations comply with company policies and customer specifications.
  • Maintain and update costing and quotation records for easy reference.
  • Support management in tender submissions and bid pricing.
  • Provide post-tender clarifications and assist in negotiations when required.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (costing formulas, data analysis, spreadsheets).
  • Experience in product costing, quotation preparation, or tender pricing.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and raw material costs (preferably in plastics).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product costing, quotation preparation, or tender pricing (preferably in manufacturing or plastics industry).
