Sales Interior Designer

Location: Taman Ekoperniagaan, Johor Bahru (Near Dato Onn)

Full-time | Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Salary: RM3,500 – RM8,000 (including commission, based on performance)

What You Will Do

  • Communicate with customers to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and layout proposals that meet customer expectations.
  • Provide professional advice on furniture selection, materials, color schemes, and space planning.
  • Present design proposals to customers and make revisions as needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Promote and sell design services and renovation packages to new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and follow-up.
  • Keep up with design trends, materials, and technology to improve creativity and customer solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in sales or interior design is an advantage. A portfolio is a big plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about sales, design, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and a good team player.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers).
  • Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-growing company.
