Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for JAIN/JAKIM & BPJPH/MUI Halal Application for Companys food products scheme and OEM scheme.
  • Responsible to assist and ensure all products obtain Halal Certification within validity period.
  • Responsible in ensuring and monitoring all Halal files and documents are in order and well organize.
  • Support training, product testing and quality check.
  • Conduct Internal Halal Awareness training to Production related workers.
  • Assist on conducting QA/QC activities and maintain all standard record.
  • Assist in performing and coordinating Halal or Food Safety Audit within internal or external party.
  • Assist on customer documentation.
  • Update raw material halal certificate validity via Quality Information Requirement (QIR).
  • Assist to reply to non-conformance and ensure rectification been done in timely manner.
  • Handle other projects as assigned from time to time.

Job requirements (Education & Experience):

  • Degree holder in Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Engineering or related Science disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Halal Affairs. Experience in food manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
  • Certified Professional Halal Executive recognized by HPB JAKIM.
  • Certified Halal Supervisor by LPPOM MUI (optional) and/or have knowledge in Halal Application Indonesia.
  • Possess proficient level of understanding of Halal procedure and requirements, MS related Halal (e.g.: MS1500).
  • Experienced in FSSC, ISO 9001, HACCP and GMP standard and with valid Food Handler certificate will be an advantage.

Job requirements & skills:

  • Excellent communication & good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent skill in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and able to handle Myehalal Portal & FOSIM.
  • Able to work under pressure & possess high sense of responsibility.
  • Good analytical skill.
  • Able to conduct training sessions.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Willing to travel whenever needed.
