Job Description

  • Sales and Development of General cargos & Freight Forwarding
  • Sales planning and Forecasting along with weekly sales report.
  • Responding customers with rates promptly.
  • Outdoor sales and customers visits are required.
  • Identify tender-based business accounts.
  • Managing Trade Nomination Shipments
  • Gathering feedback from customers during sales visit to improve service level.
  • Good negotiation skills with customers.
  • Monitor market and competitor's movement to feedback to principal.
  • Weekly review of sales performance and taking corrective action to ensure targets are met.
  • Liaise closely with agents on all shipment related issues.
  • Display efficiency in gathering market and customer information, negotiating with pricing to close deals.
  • Freight negotiation with feeder, VO and Main Line Operators
  • Target global MNC for project inquiry and follow-up on their requirements.
  • Application of rates approval from pricing team.
  • Reporting HOD on daily meetings and feedback from customers.
  • Keeping track of Payments and Recoveries Cycle.
  • Able to work well with internal team for good sales-support.

Requirements: -

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Commerce / Logistic / Transportation / Supply chain / Maritime, other equivalent.
  • More than 2 years working experience in Freight and / or Logistics (warehouse storage and distribution) or any related field are encourage to apply. Trainings will be provided.
  • Proficient in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Posses the ability and desire to sell, excellent communication skills, with a high degree of self motivation and ambition.
  • Knowledge of MS Office for report and analysis. Posses own transportation and a valid driving license.
  • Full-times permanent positions available.
  • Can apply for Assistant Manager if meet requirement and have proven experience track record.
