Job Title: Software Developer (C++ / Java)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software components using C++ and Java.
  • Work with QA testers to debug, tune performance, and ensure software reliability.
  • Perform 1st-level troubleshooting for system issues and program errors.
  • Review vendor deliverables and code for compliance with best practices.
  • Write and manage shell scripts for builds, deployments, and automation.
  • View and analyze system/application logs to identify issues in runtime environments.
  • Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for development and system configurations.

Competencies & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years' experience in a software development role with exposure to code review.
  • Experience with ACI product suites (Base24-eps, UPF, OCM24) will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with cards and consumer banking systems preferred.
  • Strong Linux command proficiency including process and resource management.
  • Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Basic understanding of clean code principles, security best practices, and coding standards.

Technical Skills

  • Programming Languages: C++, Java
  • Platforms: Linux / Unix
  • Tools: Git, Shell scripting, CI/CD pipelines
  • Database: Basic SQL knowledge (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM11,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • software development role with exposure to code review.: 3 years (Preferred)
