Responsibilities

  • Manage and handle regulatory matters for food, supplements, and non-food products, including product classification, registration, labelling, certifications and approvals under relevant authorities such as NPRA, BKKM, LIU, KPDN, JAKIM and etc.
  • Act as Halal Executive for the company and ensure compliance with the Halal Assurance Management System
  • Handle trademark registration and renewal processes for company products.
  • Support internal and external audits including documentation preparation, corrective action follow-up, and closure of non-conformities.
  • Conduct product checks and manage retention samples to ensure traceability and quality control.
  • Liaise with regional offices and forwarding agents to ensure smooth product export and timely regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regulatory and quality support to product team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in FMCG, food or cosmetics industry).
  • Good understanding of BKKM, NPRA, Halal, ISO, and other local regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organization skills.
  • Good communication and coordination ability across departments and external agencies.
  • Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
