Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Production Executive to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the production process. The ideal candidate will ensure production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, adheres to safety regulations, and achieves maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

  • Supervise and manage daily activities of Supervisors, Leaders, and Operators to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Optimize workforce utilization to minimize overtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Train new operators on production fundamentals and cross-train existing staff across production sections.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related problems, providing guidance and support to operators.

Production Processes

  • Assign duties and job orders, briefing the team on product specifications and formulations.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.
  • Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and processes for better efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Compile, review, and maintain production performance records and data.
  • Create and monitor production processes according to orders, ensuring on-time completion.
  • Serve as the SAP key user for creating and managing production data.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of all production equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and procedures.
  • Monitor raw material and general supply availability to support continuous production.

Production Planning

  • Participate in planning and scheduling production based on Delivery Instructions (DI).
  • Assign job orders to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Set production goals and guide the team to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure raw material availability at least three days before the DI date.
  • Update stock availability daily and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent delivery shortages.

Skills and Attributes Required

Academic Qualification:

  • Diploma or Degree in a Production-related field or equivalent discipline.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Production Processes and Planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
