Branch Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Sandakan Branch of AmBank Group. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall performance and growth of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a dynamic team environment. This is a full-time position based in Sandakan, Sabah.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and staff management
2. Develop and implement strategies to grow the branch's customer base and achieve financial targets
3. Provide leadership and guidance to the branch team, fostering a positive and productive work culture
4. Monitor branch performance and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and profitability
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
6. Collaborate with other business units and stakeholders to deliver integrated financial solutions to customers
7. Represent the branch and the bank in the local community, building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar branch management role within the banking or financial services industry
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver exceptional client experiences
4. Proven track record of achieving sales and financial targets
5. In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations
6. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
8. Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
9. Possess all sales licenses including IPPC.
