Job Title: Cardlink Mainframe Developer

Role Overview

The Cardlink Mainframe Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications related to Cardlink and Consumer Banking systems. This role involves full SDLC participation — from coding and testing to deployment and documentation — ensuring stability and performance of critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
  • Perform program coding and unit testing as per technical specifications.
  • Provide support during SIT, UAT, and regression testing phases.
  • Assist in deployment and post-deployment activities.
  • Conduct impact analysis and ensure compliance with SDLC best practices.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolution of production or system issues.
  • Prepare and maintain project and GPLC documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe programming (COBOL, JCL, CICS).
  • Good understanding of Cardlink or Consumer Banking applications.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks and practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM12,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

  • Cardlink Mainframe Developer: 2 years (Required)
  • Program coding and unit testing : 3 years (Preferred)
  • Support SIT, UAT & Regression Testing: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Project/GPLC Documentation: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Cobol, JCL, CICS: 2 years (Preferred)
