Nurse cum Carer

Job Description:

• Deliver quality nursing care, including hygiene, monitoring and treatment
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate records
• Lead admissions, transfers and discharge of residents
• Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including calling for medical support
• Supervise and guide carers in daily care and ensure adherence to nursing standards
• Support visiting doctors/dentists and arrange specialist appointments as needed
• Maintain and enforce infection control, safety, and professional nursing standards at all times
• Assess residents' health conditions and communicate significant changes to the attending doctor.
• Coordinate hospital or clinic referrals and accompany residents when medically indicated
• Maintain healthcare reports, medication records, and care plans accurately and timely
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility
• Ensure clean and comfortable environment, including changing bed linens and handling soiled laundry appropriately
• Accompany residents to hospital or clinic appointments as instructed
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Assist in maintaining proper stock and cleanliness of medical equipment and supplies in the area

Job Requirement:

• Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate (Malaysia Nursing Board)
• Clinical experience in geriatric/elderly care preferred
