General

  • Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the Health Screening Centre.
  • Ensure safe patient care and a secure working environment.
  • Coordinate and provide a smooth health screening journey for all customers—from registration to consultation.
  • Manage departmental Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hospital Occupational Health and Safety, Infection Control, Fire and Evacuation Plans, and Risk Management.

Departmental Scope

  • Oversee the daily operational needs of the Health Screening Centre, including staffing and scheduling.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of the patient journey and efficient appointment management.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered by all team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise new or junior staff nurses and hospital aides.
  • Foster effective and harmonious working relationships within the department and with medical and ancillary staff.
  • Participate in departmental decision-making and management activities.
  • Initiate emergency resuscitative measures as per established protocols when required.
  • Manage and troubleshoot patient complaints and incidents promptly, reporting to the Senior Manager as needed.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and oversee recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure adequate staff coverage during emergencies.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the Health Screening Centre.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and accuracy of all patient information and departmental records.
  • Assist in developing and improving health screening packages and workflows.
  • Promote and maintain strong communication and customer service standards with a diverse clientele.
  • Manage departmental inventory, including ordering, maintenance, and safety of all equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for necessary repairs and upkeep.

Financial Scope

  • Manage, direct, and coordinate departmental activities to ensure growth and achievement of revenue and profit targets.
  • Participate in developing and reviewing the departmental operational budget and recommend necessary adjustments.

Marketing Scope

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop, promote, and enhance health screening packages.
  • Support marketing initiatives and interdepartmental collaborations to streamline the health screening process.
  • Participate in health awareness campaigns and activities that strengthen the hospital's image and brand.

Training and Development Scope

  • Pursue continuous self-development and contribute to research and professional knowledge-sharing.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating excellence and sharing expertise with team members.
  • Maintain current competency and professional certification in Nursing.
  • Encourage and ensure team participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM6,000.00 per month
