About Us

We are a leading Electrical Engineering company registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Class A & CIDB G7 Contractor. We carrying out business activities as service contractors, wiring and supply related electrical, telephone, lighting and extra low voltage system in the construction of real estate, housing, office and infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Senior Drafter (Electrical) to strengthen our design team, ensure precise documentation, and support seamless project execution.

Position Overview

The Senior Drafter will be responsible for producing and coordinating electrical engineering drawings for design, tender, construction, and as-built stages. This role requires strong technical drafting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical drawings (construction, installation, shop, and as-built) using AutoCAD and other software.
• Interpret design specifications and translate them into practical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines (MEP, structural, architectural) to resolve drawing issues and ensure integration.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, compliance with standards, and consistency across project stages.
• Update drawings based on actual conditions.
• Maintain proper drawing archives, revision records, and version control.
• Prepare and update Bill of Quantities (BOQ) drawings and technical documents for

submission.

• Support project teams in preparing Coordination Drawings and assist in identifying potential clashes before construction.
• Ensure drawings meet company quality standards, project schedules, and regulatory

Requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical drafting experience; prior experience in consultant or contractor environment preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of electrical symbols, drafting standards, and local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of coordinating with multiple

stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
