Finance Executive (Level 2)

Job Purpose:

To manage and maintain the company's accounting records and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial reports. The Finance Executive plays a key role in supporting monthly closing, compliance, and audit preparation, ensuring smooth financial operations across entities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities (e.g., EasyParcel Singapore).
2. Ensure timely month-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
3. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules for internal review.
4. Monitor and review accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions.
5. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties for audit and compliance matters.
6. Assist in the preparation of tax computation and submission.
7. Support process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
8. Provide guidance to junior finance staff when required.

Key Competencies / Skills:

• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timeliness of month-end closing and reporting.
• Accuracy of financial statements and journal entries.
• Audit readiness and compliance with accounting standards.
• Quality of reconciliations and variance analysis.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field.
• Professional or partial qualification such as LCCI, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is an advantage.

Experience Requirements:

• 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
• Hands-on experience in full set of accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting preferred.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or other accounting systems is preferred.

Finance Assistant / Junior Executive (Level 1)

Job Purpose:

To assist the finance team in handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, including invoice verification and posting.
2. Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
3. Assist in bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
4. Prepare and organise financial documents and support materials for audit purposes.
5. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
6. Support senior team members in ad hoc finance or accounting assignments.

Key Competencies / Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Completeness and correctness of accounting entries.
• Compliance with standard operating procedures and reporting deadlines.

Education Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal working experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements:

• 0–2 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance operations, or bookkeeping.
• Exposure to invoice processing, AP/AR, or data entry will be an added advantage.
