The opportunity

Algo Venture Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our innovative web applications and software solutions in the Finance Industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications and software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using a variety of programming languages and frameworks
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Continuously research and implement new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to improve the development process and system performance
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for existing applications
  • Assist in the mentoring and training of junior developers

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar role
  • Proficient in C++ for Development Programming.
  • Bonus: Experience with MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) and MQL4/MQL5 for EA/indicator development and backtesting
  • Proficient in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, , , PHP, and MySQL
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and security best practices
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • A portfolio or case studies showcasing your hands-on experience with Full Stack Development
  • Highlight projects where you solved challenges similar to those in this role
