Job Overview:

As a Fashion Designer, you will lead the conceptualization, design, and development of bags and accessories. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure your creative ideas progress smoothly from concept to sample production. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strong project management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Design

  • Brainstorm, research, develop, and design collections of bags and accessories.
  • Produce innovative, trend-driven designs.
  • Manage the full design process—from idea generation to final artwork—while adhering to timelines.
  • Create design sketches, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.

Material Selection

  • Research and select appropriate materials for each design, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with the production team to source high-quality materials.

Prototype and Sample Management

  • Oversee the sampling process from prototype development to final sample production.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve design-related issues during sampling.

Quality Control

  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure samples meet design specifications and standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the production team for improvements and adjustments.

Job Requirements:

  • Background in fashion (preferred), product design, or a related design field.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in a fashion design role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of materials, production processes, and industry trends is an advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
