Job Summary

The Business Analyst will work on cards processing platforms (Cardlink or VisionPLUS), supporting business requirements, system enhancements, card product launches, and integration with banking & payment systems. The role includes requirement gathering, GAP analysis, documentation, functional testing, and coordination with technical/QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Documentation

  • Gather and document business requirements for cards processing systems (Cardlink / VisionPLUS modules).
  • Conduct GAP analysis, impact analysis, and prepare BRD, FRD, FSD.
  • Work with product owners and business users to understand card product features (debit/credit/prepaid).

2. Card System Functional Expertise

  • Work on one or more Cardlink or VisionPLUS modules such as:
  • CMS, FAS, TRAMS, LMS, CAMS, Interchange, Authorization, Collections
  • Support card lifecycle processes: onboarding, billing, limits, transaction processing, fees, interest, statement generation.

3. Project Execution

  • Translate requirements to technical teams and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Support SIT/UAT planning, test case design, and functional testing.
  • Validate card processing flows (authorization, clearing, settlement).

4. Change Management & Enhancements

  • Work with stakeholders for system enhancements, regulatory updates, card scheme changes (Visa/Mastercard/Rupay).
  • Review technical design documents for functional alignment.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with business users, card operations, compliance, development, QA, and vendor teams.
  • Provide production support for high-priority issues and root-cause analysis.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong functional knowledge of Cardlink or VisionPLUS card management systems.
  • Understanding of end-to-end issuing card processes:
  • Authorization
  • Billing
  • Disputes / Chargebacks
  • Loyalty / Rewards
  • Fees & Interest
  • Clearing & Settlement
  • Strong skills in BRD, FRD, FSD, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Experience in conducting UAT/SIT, writing test scenarios, and validating card transactions.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of ISO 8583, PCI compliance, card scheme rules.
  • Experience with API-based integration for digital banking / mobile apps.
  • SQL basics for data validation.
  • Experience supporting migration projects (from legacy card systems).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • VisionPLUS/Cardlink certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM9,000.00 per month
