About the role

Kufong Therapy Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, ensuring efficient and profitable operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the overall operations of the retail store, including staff supervision, inventory control, and financial management
  2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive store performance and maximise revenue
  3. Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising
  4. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  5. Collaborate with the regional and head office teams to implement corporate policies and initiatives
  6. Analyse store performance data and provide regular reports to senior management
  7. Recruit, train, and manage a team of store associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the consumer products industry
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide a memorable shopping experience
  4. Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysis
  5. Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  7. Fluent in English and the local languages
