Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Hospitality, Office Management or related field.
  • Min 5 years in administrative and secretarial support/house management.
  • Experience in private household management and provide butler-style service, overseeing daily operation of the residence, housekeeping, food & beverages, domestic administration and household affairs coordination.
  • Experience in planning and executing private functions, dinners, and seasonal celebrations.
  • Experience in household inventory, reservations, gifting, and other personal errands as required.
  • Trustworthy, proactive and hands-on with attention to details.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and the ability to communicate with clarity and professionalism
  • Able to manage staff and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools, making travel arrangements and document management.
  • Willing to be stationed at a private residence office and to work beyond regular hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household. This role requires exceptional coordination of domestic staff, meticulous management of logistics, and the ability to ensure the seamless execution of all household functions with the utmost professionalism and discretion.

The following are the details of the roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage household schedules, appointments, bookings and logistics/travel arrangements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of household cleanliness, safety, and functionality through proactive oversight and coordination.
  • Implement and monitor household SOPs, inventory control and preventive maintenance plans.
  • Liaise with household staff, vendors, and service providers.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and documentation.
  • Run errands, manage purchases, and ensure all house facilities and services run seamlessly.
  • Assist with event planning and private functions.
  • Track expenses and liaise with financial advisors or accountant.
  • Provide dedicated support to the assigned individuals, including assistance with daily tasks, household operations, household affairs, errands and day to day coordination.
  • Ensure privacy protocols and security measures are upheld at all times.

Term:

This is a two-year contract.
