Role Description

Petrosaka
is seeking a qualified
Electrical Engineer
to support the
LFP-G Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project
under the
EPCIC scope
. This role involves detailed design, engineering, and close collaboration with on-site teams to ensure successful project delivery at
Project AIR Mentah, RAPID
.

Qualifications

1. Able to read and understand detailed electrical design and engineering for EPCIC scope.
2. Able to read and understand SLDs, cable schedules, and electrical layouts.
3. Evaluate and specify electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, inverters, and protection systems.
4. Support BESS system integration (LFP-G technology) and interface with mechanical, instrumentation, and control teams.
5. Conduct FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities at site.
6. Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
7. Liaise and coordinate closely with the construction team, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum
   5 years of experience
   in Oil & Gas EPCIC project
3. Experience with
   LFP-G or BESS systems
   is an advantage.
4. Familiar with international standards (IEC, IEEE, API, etc.).
5. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
6. Willing to be based at
   Project AIR Mentah, RAPID, Johor
   .
