Job Scope: Part-Time Frontend Engineer (Flutter Web & Mobile)

Overview

We are seeking a part-time Frontend Engineer with strong UI/UX implementation skills to support the development of our Flutter-based web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-savvy, and comfortable working with modern development tools, Figma prototypes, and backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Frontend Development (Flutter Web & Mobile)


• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive user interfaces for both Flutter web and mobile applications.


• Optimize UI components for performance, accessibility, and seamless user experience.


• Ensure consistent design execution across screens, devices, and platforms.

  1. UI/UX Implementation


• Translate Figma designs, wireframes, and user flows into high-quality Flutter widgets and pages.


• Collaborate with designers to refine layouts, micro-interactions, animations, and visual details.


• Provide UI/UX feedback to enhance usability, functionality, and aesthetic quality.

  1. Design Collaboration (Figma)


• Interpret Figma designs and convert them into production-ready UI.


• Contribute to design reviews, suggesting improvements to enhance user experience.


• Assist in updating design assets or prototypes when necessary.

  1. Integration & Backend Connectivity


• Implement API integrations to support dynamic and data-driven app features.


• Work with Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, and basic Cloud Functions triggers.


• Collaborate with backend or product teams to ensure smooth end-to-end data flow.

  1. Code Quality & Collaboration


• Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code following Flutter best practices.


• Participate in version control workflows (Git) and contribute to code reviews.


• Troubleshoot UI bugs and performance issues across mobile and web builds.

Requirements


• Strong experience with Flutter (web and mobile) UI development.


• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and design-to-code workflows.


• Experience working with Figma for design interpretation.


• Familiarity with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, basic Functions).


• Experience with REST API integration.


• Ability to work independently and manage part-time responsibilities effectively.
