Wanpow Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd is a leading plastic manufacturing company known for delivering high-quality, durable plastic products across various sectors. To support our growing operations, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Technician to join our manufacturing team.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience as a Technician in a plastic manufacturing setup.
  • Familiarity with injection molding, blow molding or extrusion machines.
  • Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
  • Physically fit and able to work in shifts if required.
  • Good teamwork, communication and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor plastic molding, extrusion or blow molding machines as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up machines, adjust parameters and ensure optimal production output.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to the maintenance team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and follow safety protocols.
  • Record production data, material usage, downtown and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Support preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with quality control and other departments to meet production targets.
  • Ensure timely completion of production tasks with minimal wastage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
