M&E QS Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all M&E QS functions, including cost estimation, tender evaluations and contract administration.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify cost, risk and compliance factors.
  • Oversee the preparation of BOQ, cost plans, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and evaluating subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Lead, guide, and develop the QS team to deliver high quality output and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare management reports, cost forecasts and commercial recommendations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7-11 years of QS Experience in the M&E construction industry,
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems.
  • Proven experience in managing contract matters, procurement and project cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
