  1. To assess, identify and control hazards at work site and maintain safe operation method.
  2. To ensure relevant signage are displayed and maintain Safety Statistical data.
  3. Ensure that the provision of the Safety Act and regulation are complied.
  4. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
  5. To lead and drive the function of safety and 5S committee in the factory and its activities.
  6. Prepare updates/reports, presentation and attend meetings related with the safety matters.
  7. To promote and carry out safety awareness, training, practices to all workers.
  8. To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence and occupational poisoning or occupational disease.
  9. Conducting HIRARC exercise.
  10. To liaise with clients, consultant, auditors, subcontractors and relevant government agencies (e.g.: DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, MOH) to identify and resolve health, safety and environmental issues including licensing/permit and audit matter.
  11. To carry out any other instruction made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work pertaining to safety and health issue.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least attended the NIOSH Safety Coordinator courses, Certificate of SHO, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent or preferred.

Experience: At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in related field with exposure to RBA, EICC, SWA, SMETA, IWAY or any labor practice compliances audit. Fresh entries with relevant qualification/experiences are encourage to apply.

Skills:  Able to communicate and coordinate safety program for workers and  proficient in Microsoft Office.

Competencies: Competent in various safety field of works or with technical qualification is an added advantage (Waste Water Treatment Plant, Schedule Waste, Engineering etc)
