Stock Keeper

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Stock Keeper (Tools & Electrical Equipment) to join our team at Front Guard Sdn. Bhd. in Miri, Sarawak. This full-time position is responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory of tools and electrical equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operation of our engineering function.

What you'll be doing

1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming tools and electrical equipment
2. Organise and maintain the storage of all tools and equipment in designated areas
3. Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory levels
4. Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory
5. Liaise with procurement and engineering teams to understand upcoming requirements
6. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all stock movements
7. Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimise loss and damage
8. Provide support and information to engineering teams regarding tool and equipment availability

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar stock keeping or inventory management role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment
2. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
3. Proficient in the use of inventory management systems and MS Office applications
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various teams
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
6. Knowledge of tools and electrical equipment used in engineering operations
7. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure
