A leading global financial institution is seeking a
Settlement Senior Executive
to join its Kuala Lumpur team on a permanent basis. The company is scaling rapidly and offers strong career growth, development and leadership opportunities.

As part of the Settlement team, you will play a mission-critical role in safeguarding the accuracy of client fund balances across PSPs, banks and crypto wallets, while supporting governance, controls and compliance across global FX, derivatives, payments and crypto operations. You'll collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology to ensure seamless settlement performance and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete merchant, PSP, crypto and bank settlements accurately and on schedule
  • Reconcile transaction data across MT4/MT5, CRM systems, PSP dashboards and blockchain explorers
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, pending settlements, chargebacks and failed transactions
  • Manage daily treasury monitoring, liquidity allocation and fund flows
  • Maintain strong operational controls and regulatory compliance standards
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly settlement reports and financial reconciliations
  • Assist with internal/external audits and support UAT for PSP integrations and reconciliation system enhancements
  • Contribute to process optimisation and automation initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline
  • 2–3+ years' experience in settlements, fund operations, payments/PSP, fintech, banking, FX or crypto
  • Strong Excel and data-handling skills; exposure to MT4/MT5, CRM systems and PSP dashboards is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and collaborating across departments
  • Understanding of AML/KYC, compliance and blockchain/crypto settlements is beneficial
