Key Responsibilities

Trade Processing & Confirmation

  • Ensure accurate trade booking and reporting.
  • Perform daily trade reconciliation and monitor sub-account setup.
  • Deliver timely trade confirmations to clients, including manual confirmations when necessary.

Trading & Sales Support

  • Foster strong working relationships with front office teams (trading, sales, and sales trading).
  • Liaise with CLSA regional offices to resolve offshore trade issues for local clients.
  • Escalate post-trade execution errors or discrepancies promptly to the Sales Trading and Dealing teams.

Client Service

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients on all Operations-related matters.
  • Address and resolve client settlement queries in coordination with Clearing Agents and Settlement departments.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit ad-hoc and periodic regulatory reports.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to help them achieve individual and team goals.
  • Continuously review and improve operational processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT to define business requirements for system enhancements and new reporting tools.
  • Manage resource allocation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in Brokerage Securities Operations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and client service skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bursa Malaysia settlement rules and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
