Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Database Administrator
to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our database systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and monitor
    Microsoft SQL Server
    and
    Cloud-native database
    platforms.
  • Perform database design, implementation, performance tuning, and backup/recovery activities.
  • Manage and optimize
    SQL queries (Level 2)
    to ensure efficient data retrieval.
  • Support and maintain
    Oracle
    database environments.
  • Perform database operations and troubleshooting within
    Linux
    environments.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support ongoing projects and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum
    3 years of relevant experience
    in database administration.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft SQL Server
    and
    Cloud-native databases
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    SQL Level 2
    concepts.
  • Experience with
    Oracle Database
    and
    Linux operating systems
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
