What you'll be doing

1. Quality Control & Assurance

· Follow and maintain the project quality plan and inspection procedures.

· Inspect materials, ongoing works, and completed works.

· Make sure all work follows approved methods, drawings, and standards.

· Check that materials and equipment meet project specifications.

· Review and approve inspection requests and method statements.

2. Documentation & Reporting

· Prepare and keep records such as inspection reports, NCRs, and checklists.

· Update QA/QC logs for materials, testing, and calibration.

· Keep proper documentation for material traceability and project handover.

· Issue and monitor non-conformance and corrective actions.

3. Coordination

· Work with engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for inspections.

· Arrange testing with third-party labs.

· Attend meetings with clients and project teams.

4. Continuous Improvement

· Help apply ISO 9001 quality standards.

· Suggest ways to prevent and correct quality issues.

· Train site staff on quality procedures and inspections.

Requirements:

a) Possess a related technical degree from a university recognized by the Government of Malaysia; and

b) Hold a Green Card issued by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia; and

c) Have at least 5 years of experience in the Malaysian construction industry (CIDB); and

d) Fulfil one of the following requirements:

i. Have at least 2 years of experience related to the implementation of MS ISO 9001 in the construction industry; or

ii. Have participated in field audit activities for MS ISO 9001, or possess an Internal Auditor Certificate from an agency or body recognized by MAMPU.
