The Senior System Analyst is responsible for implementing computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, and designing and testing standards and solutions. The role develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow options. Key responsibilities include interacting with users for collecting requirements and providing technical solutions , offering guidance for junior developers to complete tasks , and utilizing the Agile development process to reach the goal of each sprint.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the software development and maintenance of mission-critical frontend trading systems for multiple Business Units (BUs).
  • Manage and lead up to medium-scale project teams, arranging project team resources according to the project implementation plan.
  • Review current technology and drive ways to leverage and improve productivity.
  • Perform systems administration and daily IT operation tasks.
  • Select the right technology solutions for building the regional end-to-end sales platform.
  • Provide integration solutions with other systems.
  • Translate user requirements to functional and technical specifications and lead the project team members to perform development according to confirmed technical specifications.
  • Carry out feasibility study of requirements and functional specifications with users and other functional stakeholders.
  • Perform the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) cycle task, including system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement

Requirement:

  • At least 6 years of application development experience.
  • Strong leadership experience, with proven track records in managing regional-based Front-end systems, and preferably experience in implementing IT systems/projects for multiple BUs.
  • Experience with
    modern programming languages
    , specifically
    , ReactJS, and Java
    .
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipeline
    from a frontend build perspective.
  • Experience integrating with
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Knowledge of modern
    container technology
    , such as
    Docker and K8s
    .
  • Knowledge of modern
    authorization mechanisms
    , such as
    OAuth and JSON Web Token
    .
  • Experience with common
    front-end development tools
    such as
    Webpack, NPM
    , etc.
