Description

As a Customised Solutions Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that designs tailored solutions to meet unique customer needs—playing a key role in winning bids and driving business growth. Based in our Kuala Lumpur office, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, manufacturing, and sales to deliver impactful results.

Who You Are
You're a proactive problem-solver with a strong customer orientation and a knack for translating complex requirements into feasible, profitable solutions. You may be a fresh graduate or have 1–2 years of experience in engineering, product customization, or technical sales support, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in product engineering, technical sales support, or customized solutions (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of SAP transactions.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Competency in design software: CREO (ProE), AutoCAD, SketchUp.
  • Familiarity with Hedberg software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Evaluate feasibility, pricing, and specifications for non-standard product requests to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Facilitate discussions with internal teams and customers to uncover business needs and propose tailored product solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to assess capabilities and design requirements for special product requests.
  • Prepare formal quotations and supporting documents to enable the sales team to influence customer decisions.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and recommend quality enhancements.
