POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Supervisor is responsible the supervision of rectification, refurbishment, and upgrading works to existing buildings and infrastructure. The role ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Supervision

  • Supervise & execute daily civil construction activities including structural and non-structural defect rectification, concrete repairs, hacking, grouting, patching, and waterproofing, refurbishment, minor civil modifications and upgrading works.
  • Ensure works are executed according to approved construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Coordinate and monitor workers and equipment on-site.

Quality Control & Technical Compliance

  • Assist in identifying defects, root causes, and rectification methods under supervision.
  • Ensure rectification works meet required workmanship standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct checks on completed works prior to inspections or handover.
  • Assist in managing rectification schedules and tracking outstanding defects.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor daily progress and report to the Project Manager / Civil Engineer.
  • Maintain daily site records including manpower, machinery, materials, and work activities.
  • Highlight delays, technical issues, or site constraints affecting progress.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with civil engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in coordinating inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Communicate site instructions clearly to workers and subcontractors.

Housekeeping & Site Discipline

  • Ensure good housekeeping and proper material storage at site.
  • Ensure compliance with site rules, permits, and statutory requirements.

REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma / Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in rectification, refurbishment, upgrading, maintenance, or fit-out works.
  • CIDB Green Card (mandatory or ability to obtain upon joining).
  • Speak & write in BM.
  • Basic knowledge of building defects and rectification methods is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,600.00 per month
