Finance & Accounts Assistant (Account Payable)

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Process invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation
  • Assist with processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to payment terms and conditions
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principle.
  • Any other job function assigned, and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Accounting or Finance is required for this position.
  • Candidate with working experience in manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
