Data Centre Operations Engineer - Johor

Location: Bukit Batu Johor |12 months Contract position |Up to RM 12000 monthly (based on experience)

Join our dynamic infrastructure team and be the bridge between technology and Data Centre operations. You'll play a vital role in keeping mission-critical systems running smoothly, driving automation, and ensuring top-notch uptime across our environments.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the technical liaison between tech teams and Data Centre ops.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve complex infrastructure issues; manage escalations when needed.
  • Support installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of production servers.
  • Drive automation & process improvement for smoother operations.
  • Lead 2nd-level technical support and coordinate with vendors to resolve cases.
  • Assist in OS/application upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning.
  • Ensure consistent uptime and reliability within an IaaS environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong hands-on Linux background.
  • Experience in Data Centre operations – racking, cabling, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and structured cabling.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, performance management, and documentation.
  • Excellent communicator with a customer-first mindset.
  • Thrive in a 24/7 rotational shift environment with high attention to detail.
