As we scale, we recognize the need to build a centralized, professional CAD function that supports growth, consistency, and technical excellence across our operations.

We're looking for a CAD Team Manager
to lead this transformation. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned CAD professional who thrives on creating structure, implementing best practices, and laying the foundations of a high-performing shared services team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our CAD capabilities from the ground up within our Kuala Lumpur office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a centralized CAD function to support project delivery across the organization.
  • Define and establish CAD standards, workflows, and governance models to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a team of CAD technicians and specialists as the function grows.
  • Collaborate with project leads, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand CAD requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Identify and deploy tools, technologies, and training that will enhance the efficiency and output of the CAD function.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CAD-related processes and support within the Kuala Lumpur office and beyond.
  • Continuously review and improve CAD delivery methods to ensure scalability and alignment with industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience establishing or leading a CAD function in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Excellent understanding of CAD standards, file management, and production workflows.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team is a must.
  • A self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to build something from scratch.
