Job Title: Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)

Location: Efficient RE Sdn Bhd, Bukit Jelutong

Reporting to: Group Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Executive is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance to ensure the company's financial health and regulatory adherence. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support strategic decision-making within a public listed company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain proper records for audit purposes.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and highlight variances.
  • Support in cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives.

3. Accounts Management

  • Oversee Accounts Payable invoice payment day-to-day operational activities.
  • Verify and approve payment vouchers and staff claims.
  • Manage and reconcile bank transactions and cash flow.

4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate tax, SST, and other statutory requirements.

5. Stakeholder Management:

  • Assist in financial presentations to the Board of Directors, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, procurement, and legal to support financial decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in performing account payable.
  • Entry-level candidates, including fresh graduates, are welcome to apply this position.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
