Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set up, and operate automatic or robotic welding systems.
  • Develop and optimize welding programs and parameters for different materials.
  • Troubleshoot welding automation issues and ensure process stability.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams on fixture design and process improvement.
  • Monitor welding quality, ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and welders.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Welding / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automatic or robotic welding systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, welding parameters, and metallurgy.
  • Familiar with ABB, Panasonic, or Fanuc robotic systems is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of AWS / ASME welding codes and standards.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
