Your Role

As our Accounting Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health and stability of the company.

You will oversee all accounting functions, guide your team toward operational excellence, and collaborate closely with top management to support strategic business decisions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the Accounting Department to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow, and budget reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with MFRS, Companies Act, LHDN, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest government financial, tax, and reporting regulations, ensuring all practices comply with current laws and standards.
  • Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and inventory accounting.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, financial SOPs, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor cash flow, budget performance, and financial forecasting.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and train accounting team members to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) and registered with MIA.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) is compulsory.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Accounts – including costing, inventory control, WIP tracking, and production analysis.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, Malay, and English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in AutoCount, SQL, or other accounting systems, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS, taxation, and Malaysian financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
