The Executive, Claims (Accident, Medical Reimbursement) actively involved in day-to-day operational production to meet the KPI. The incumbent is required to achieve the expected daily individual's productivity, to deliver the service turnaround time, attending penders timely, attending training and improve quality of assessment towards service excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform claims assessment and approval on all claims based on authority limit for the whole team. Ensure all claims are assessed in accordance with SOP within TAT for claim process by team. Accountable on team efficiency and effectiveness performance on TAT, productivities per level set.
  • Work independently and deliver KPI within the agreed timeline. Execute daily tasks and clear assigned penders and have urgency to ensure the team are performing within or exceed target SLA.
  • Attend product and technical trainings and work with the team on acquiring and improving the required job and technical knowledge.
  • To comply with all regulatory (internal and external) and corporate requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred field Biomedical/Biotechnology/Bioscience/Business Administration/Mathematics/Economics
  • Fresh graduates or minimum 1 year experience in life underwriting / life insurance/takaful / claims operations and management.
  • Passing Professional Examinations: Life insurance qualification eg. ACII, AMII, AAII, FLMI. is an advantage.
